I almost feel like this priece is unfinished. On the other hand I connect the dying flowers with the fading color. As if the color leaves the picture as the flowers die. The more I look at the piece the more I enjoy it.
ReplyDeletethis piece is nice to look at. I feel like you were almost afraid to stray too far from a traditional look when it comes to color. While i dont know what the original colors were, i would have liked for it to be a little more obvious that you changed the colors.
ReplyDeleteI love the textures and kind of static feel of an image complemented with black negative space. I agree with comments that the choice of more extreme non local color would help it!
